That’s right, it’s everyone’s favorite time of year again! The 13th Annual Surf & Turf event just wrapped for 2025.
This years event took place in early August on the beautiful shores of Bolsa Chica State Beach in Orange County, California. If you’ve been before, you know this is a highlight of the summer. If you’re new, rest assured, it’s quite a treat.
For 13 years running, this event has been our way of giving back to an organization that’s incredibly close to our hearts: the Surfrider Foundation.
These are the folks on the front lines, fighting to protect what we all love. The Surfrider Foundation’s mission is all about the preservation and enjoyment of the world’s oceans and beaches. They lead vital initiatives for clean water, the reduction of plastic pollution, and the protection of our precious marine ecosystems. We’re proud to support their work to ensure stunning stretches of coastline like Bolsa Chica are protected for generations to come.
So, what’s our Surf & Turf event all about? It’s the perfect day for the Superwinch and Westin teams and our awesome partners in the off-road community.
The event kicked off in the morning by grabbing boards and tackling some awesome waves. (We never make any promises about the skill on display, but we can guarantee a few good laughs and maybe a bruised ego or two.)
After we washed off the sand, we traded our surf wax for golf tees and headed to Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach for 18 holes. It’s the best of both worlds and a perfect way to connect with our friends and partners in the automotive community, all while supporting a fantastic cause.
