Few things are better than seeing the off-road community come together for an amazing cause. Recently we had the absolute honor of attending the annual King Shocks Toy Drive, and let us tell you – it was an incredible experience that we won’t soon forget.

The History Of The King Shocks Toy Drive
For those who might not be familiar, the King Shocks Toy Drive is a massive gathering that brings out some of the sickest off-road builds around, all in the name of charity. Launched in 2023, the event started as a grassroots effort by a few passionate off-road groups who teamed up with King Shocks and the City of Garden Grove, California.
United by a shared mission to make a real difference, they organized a completely free community event originally benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Since then, it’s rapidly become a staple in the off-road calendar. The goal? To bring joy to children in need, provide toys for underserved families, and help fund local nonprofits.
Whether you bring an unwrapped toy to exchange for raffle tickets, buy tickets directly to win awesome sponsor prizes, or sign your rig up for the vehicle showcase (with all entry proceeds benefiting La Casa), attending isn’t just about talking trucks – it’s about strengthening the bonds of our community.

Walking through the vehicle showcase, our team was completely blown away by the level of detail, fabrication, and passion poured into every single rig. From fully outfitted overlanders ready to tackle weeks off the grid to hardcore rock crawlers built for the toughest trails, the turnout was nothing short of epic.
