Superwinch recently teamed up with Team 1866 drivers Harrison Weiss and Blake Wilkey for the 56th annual Score International Off-Road Racing Baja 500 2024 race. Checkout the recap below to see the thrilling competition.
The grueling 500-mile desert course is one of the world’s toughest off-road races. The intense race atmosphere, along with highly-capable off-road vehicles navigating the challenging terrain is a site to behold!
“All we want to do is represent the best products down in Mexico and Superwinch is helping with that. We’re dialed in: We just went through mainstage where we’ll be starting out … it’s complete madness! This is the busiest Baja 500 I’ve ever been a part of. We’ve got 23 cars in class with our draw and we’re starting 17 so we got a lot of work to do …hopefully we don’t need to use a Superwinch but if we do in some of those bottleneck potential areas it’s just that much more added insurance. We’re definitely stoked to have the Superwinch winch, especially on this course. We’re ready to get it – let’s go baby!”

“During the Baja 500 we unfortunately ripped the lower front pivot off which took a few other things in the area with it. We learned a lot we had a ton of fun and we will be back for sure! We want to give a huge shout out to Superwinch for supporting us going down there – we represented them the best we could and fortunately couldn’t make it all the way but there’s always the next time! Keep your eyes peeled – we’re gonna come back stronger and go for some better results – again thank you Superwinch and until the next time!”
